“Rode Hall was an overwhelming experience, with its magnificent and extensive collection ranging from early Chelsea and Derby to the Maws vases designed by Walter Crane, via examples from almost any factory you care to name (and some very interesting Coalport). A second visit, to try to take in more of the wonderful examples of ceramics, is definitely indicated – and the walled garden and tearoom are worth visiting again as well!”
